What do you think of Miami’s new evolution into the Art Scene?
Marina: I used to come here 10-15 years ago when Art Basel was mostly attended by locals and Americans. It has evolved into an international affair with Europeans and French people coming together to Miami. It’s very convinient to be here in Miami for Art Basel, everyone comes together. I think it has something to do with the weather as well. Everywhere else it’s winter and cold, here in Miami there’s sunshine and Art Basel.
What’s so particular about Miami?
Marina: Miami is developing and it is very evident. It has young artists, architects and the real estate market is booming.
What’s one main difference you see when comparing Los Angeles, New York and Miami in the Art Scene?
Marina: Los Angeles is done, New York is as is. Miami is the future.
